In honor of my second 21 Day Sugar Detox, I decided to put together some (hopefully) helpful tips for dealing with strong sugar cravings. I hope you will be able to use them when the craving hits!

Though a 21 DSD or paleo dinner is always pretty easy for me to figure out, breakfast and lunch seem to require some extra creativity – usually because I’m rushing to class around breakfast, and lunch is just kind of a boring meal in my opinion. However, I know that fueling up for those meals can make or break the rest of my day energy-wise! Here’s an example of what I usually do for each meal:

I’m on Day 13 of this thing and still going strong!
My experience so far:
-My skin is improving! The initial flareup is obviously leaving, which is SO encouraging.
-My energy level throughout the day makes me really happy. I’m writing this at 4 pm and am wide awake – after spending the day doing errands, cooking, and deep cleaning my garage. Read more
After being told “you need to start a blog” multiple times, I’ve finally decided to do it. I already spend a lot of time researching and writing for nutrition classes, listening to health podcasts, experimenting in the kitchen, and reading health literature on my own time – so I thought, might as well put it to good use! Besides that, I also have found that I learn so much better by writing, so this will really serve multiple purposes.
